The flower girl and page boy walking down the aisle preceding the bride, frequently draw whispers of 'how sweet' or 'how cute' among the congregation. The former, a mini-version of a bridesmaid and the latter who undertake the role of ring-bearer, are an important part of the bridal entourage.

Often a niece and nephew or perhaps offspring of close friends, they bring with them a sense of childhood innocence to the wedding.

Tip : Cute as they may be, refrain from having kids who are too young to be flower girls and page boys. The last thing you would want at your wedding is kids throwing tantrums. Also, ensure that they have enough rest prior to the ceremony, which will hopefully mean children being on their best behaviour.
