Analyse their work, study their packages, try to establish a rapport. Then make your decision and pay a deposit to secure their services. A good wedding photographer for you is one :

• Who is artistically inclined.
• Whose stylistic leaning matches your preferences.
• Who gets along well with you and whom you are comfortable with.
• Whose charges meet your budget.
• Who makes the effort to get to know you.
• Who scrutinises your schedule of events and runs through his or her ideas with you.
• Who meets promised deadlines in terms of deliverables.
