Destination weddings are on the upswing. Couples wanting to experience something different from the run-of-the-mill city weddings are heading abroad in search of that dream wedding of theirs.

Those who have the funds in their budget should however consider hiring a wedding planner to organise their far-flung nuptials :

  • Careful and attentive coordination with the venue is necessary.
  • Sourcing for, evaluating, appointing and negotiating with local vendors at the destination can be a tedious but important task.
  • Arranging logistics for the entire group including family, relatives and guests can be a headache.
  • A variety of activities and side-trips may need to be planned for the duration of stay.
  • Having a wedding planner shoulder most of the responsibilities will allow you more time and peace-of-mind to fully enjoy the experience.
